Introduction
Streams
A stream is any source of data that is connected to the application coming in from an on-site machine with a connected K2 or an MQTT device. As of now, only the K2 gateways manufactured by Intelligence Industrielle can be used as streams.
Properties
A property is an input produced by the machine. It can be humidity, temperature, a press signal, etc.
Below is a schematic view of a K2 gateway that shows 20 properties. If one machine is connected to a K2, we can send up to 20 properties from that machine.
Utilization
Streams send data to the application, which can read stream properties and visualize them in real-time.
See in the next part how to connect a K2 gateway to the application.
