Create a stream

In the configuration view, go to Streams and click on the Add a Stream card.

The stream configuration popup will appear. Select Sensor to connect a K2 gateway.

Then give a name to your stream and enter the MAC Address of your K2. This address is given from the support team.

The inbound topic is usualy : from_XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
The outbound topic is usually: to_XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

Your stream is now created.

tip

Under the stream name is shown the elapsed time since the application last received a signal from the K2 gateway. The K2 gateways send a heartbeat to the application every minute. This means that if the elapsed time is greater than 2 minutes, there is something wrong with the connection between the K2 and the application, most likely poor wifi quality.

If you see a dash ('-') instead of the elapsed time, it means that the K2 gateway has never communicated with the application.
